Devin Rohe

Devin Rohe was an intelligent, kind, and caring person who tried to help others (in his own way).  He was incredibly active and energetic as a child, and amazingly physically fit, strong, and fast as a youth.  He excelled in track and field, football, wrestling, and weight training.  Devin graduated from Waunakee High School in 2014.  He was creative, adventurous, exciting, and charismatic.  Devin loved nature, the mountains and woods, animals, fishing, art, photography, music, chess, philosophy, and books.  He had a great sense of humor.   Devin also had a dark side.  After many years of battling mental health, drug and alcohol issues, Devin succumbed to his disease and ended his struggle November 27, 2021.

Devin was very loved by his family.  He is preceded in death by his uncle, Scott Westervelt.  He is survived by Susan Miller (mother), Mike Rohe (father), Robert and Lucille Westervelt (grandparents), Bruce and Mary Westervelt (aunt and uncle) , Alexander Westervelt, Robert and Alicia Westervelt, Michael Westervelt, and David Westervelt (cousins).  He will be missed by family, friends and those who knew him.

There will be a memorial/celebration of Devin’s life on July 30th, 2022 at Holy Wisdom Monastery (Hwy M) in the Garden Room at 1:00.
