Diane E. Seim

Madison – Diane E. Seim, age 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 28, 2023, at Oakwood Village East.  She was born August 2, 1958, in Madison to Roy “Ted” and Katherine (Moore) Holm. 

Diane is a 1977 graduate of LaFollette High School and retired from WPS insurance.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey Derke; mother Kathy Holm; sister Deb Holm; sisters-in-law Donna, Mary, Kathy, Nancy Seim and Sue (Gary) Bryant; Aunts Betsy Drysen and Shirley Moore.

Preceded in death by her husband Richard Seim Jr., her father, sister Donna (Dennis) Hilgendorf; grandparents Lionel (Helen) Moore and Clement (Marguerite) Holm, uncles Jimmy Drysen and Richard Moore.

A funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Friday January 5, 2024, at Oakwood Village Prairie East, Tree of Life Chapel, 5565 Tancho Dr. Madison, WI.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the chapel on Friday.  Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakwood Hospice or to the Charity of your choice in Diane’s name.
