Dolores J. Clemann

Sun Prairie- Dolores J. (nee Douglas) Clemann, age 77, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at her home.  She was born on June 9, 1932 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond & Beulah (Gustafson) Douglas.   She was united in marriage to Edward W. ""Bill"" Clemann on April 30, 1954 in Moline, IL and he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2004.  She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie and was an active member of the church's serving group.  She enjoyed vacationing in Door County with her family.  In her spare time she loved to make quilts and was an accomplished cook and baker.   Although she had many interests, her greatest joy came from being a wife, mother and grandmother.   Survivors include her children, Douglas (Victoria)  Clemann, Eau Claire and Pamela (Craig) Weiss, McFarland; her grandchildren, Ashley Clemann, Bryan Weiss and Daniel Weiss; special uncle & aunt, Bob & Shirley Hornecker, Peoria, Il; other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents..  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 , at 12:00 p.m. in Our Savior's Lutheran Church 550 Lincoln Dr, Sun Prairie. Rev. Ronald Mach will officiate.  Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be given to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
