Dolores Pfeifer

February 12, 1930 — October 25, 2016

MADISON- Dolores M. (Vieau) Pfeifer, passed away on Oct. 25, 2016 of Lewy Body Dementia. Dolores was born in Green Bay on Feb. 12, 1930 the daughter of the late Jerome E. and Mavis E. (Green) Vieau. She married her high school sweetheart Richard H. Pfeifer on June 30, 1951 in Green Bay. They moved their family to Madison, where Dolores worked as a payroll manager at Manchester's Department Store and then Nicolet Instrument Corp. until retiring in 1993. Dolores was an active member of the community service organization Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) International. During her 60 year membership she proudly served as state president twice. Also during that time she was an instrumental part in raising money for the St. Jude Children's Hospital Foundation. Dolores loved spending time with her family and traveling the world. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and kindness to everyone she met. She is survived by her son Richard J. (JoAnn) Pfeifer and her daughter Toni (Ben) Kollmansberger, 7 grandchildren and their 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, 2 of her sisters Beverly Rodaer and Terry Zasada. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard H., her brother Michael Vieau, her 2 sisters Bernice Vieau and June Snelling.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday Oct. 31, 2016 at MIDVALE COMMUNITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4329 Tokay Blvd. Madison, with Rev. Blake Rohrer presiding. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
