Donald John Bormett

Don crossed this earthly barrier and joined those who went before him; parents Albert and Rosemary; sister Rita and nephew Tony Bormett.

He was a lifelong Madisonian who attended West High School, worked nearly four decades at the Madison Club, and was a caretaker for his mom and brother, which was greatly appreciated by his siblings.   Don liked to spend his time outdoors, biking, camping, and fishing; He especially enjoyed filming life events and wildlife. Don also really liked decorating the house for the holidays and flying flags for different occasions. 

Don will be missed by those he has left behind; siblings Jean (Bo), Paul, Mike, and Tom (Jacquie) Bormett and Teresa Messer; nephews Dylan, and Carl; and nieces Melissa(Brandon) and Jeana.  He is further survived by other relatives.

Don will be having a natural burial at Natural Paths Sanctuary, 2299 Spring Rose Rd., Verona, on Monday, September 18 at 3 pm.    In lieu of flowers, memorials in Don’s name may be made to The Farley Center (www.farleycenter.org)
