Donald "Donnie" Dunn

Donald “Donnie” L. Dunn, age 72, of Deerfield, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at his home in Deerfield. He was born in Madison on September 12, 1953, to Donald and Janice (Brandenstein) Dunn. Donnie married the love of his life, Debbie Lou (Siroin) in 1986 in Lac du Flambeau, WI. Donnie took pride in working hard to provide for his loving family, the center of his life. He loved to take time to socialize and occasionally enjoy an adult beverage with family and friends. Donnie was loving, quick witted, and genuinely enjoyed the home that he and his family created.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Lou; children; Tracey (Jessica) Dunn of Verona and Nichole (Micheal) Dunn of Deerfield and son-in-law Robbie (Lisa) Gruber; siblings Lynn (Jeffery) Larson of Edgerton, Dennis (Judy) Dunn of Madison, and Amy (Brent) Rusch of Janesville; 5 grandchildren Kara, Calvin, Samantha, Kayley, and Brody and all his adoring nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa and brother Steven (Stevie Ray) Dunn.

An incredibly special thanks to his little angel Nichole, that was there every moment to help her dad through his treatments and illness. Nichole was affectionately named “Donnie’s Armpit” as she was with him from the day she was born to the day she said goodbye to her Daddy. We would also like to give our gratitude to the wonderful professionals at Agrace for Donnie’s amazing care.

A celebration of life for our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle will be announced.
