Donald “Don” Lee Pasch, age 80 of Madison, died peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veteran’s Hospice Center in Madison, WI. Don was born February 2, 1944 in Wilton, Wisconsin, the fourth son of Melvin and Irene (née Rickhoff) Pasch. He served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1966. Don married the love of his life, Donna (née Thomas), on June 17, 1967 in Loyal, Wisconsin. He began working as an electrician for Gisholt/Giddings & Lewis in Madison, Wisconsin and worked his way into a maintenance supervisor position. He was transferred to the plant in Menominee, Michigan in 1985 and he worked there until his retirement in July 2001.
Don was fond of spending time with his family, listening to his ‘tunes’ which included all genres of music, going to Deer Camp with his friends and playing cards though his greatest joys were his grandchildren Tanner Conard, Noah Conard and Ciera Christopherson. He enjoyed attending his grandsons’ sporting events throughout the years. He was their biggest fan. He especially enjoyed his precious granddaughter, Ciera. They had a special bond and he loved watching her grow to be “Grandpa’s little girl”.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna, his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Ethel Thomas, his brothers Earl Pasch of Wisconsin Rapids, Ron Pasch of Reedsburg, Gary (Teresa) Pasch of LaCrosse, Robert Pasch of Madison, his sisters, Shirley (Fritz) Linenberg of Tomah, Rosemary (Jim) Reinart of Tomah, Vicky (Renny) Miller of Tomah, Roxann Gibeaut of Tomah and Becky Pasch of Tomah.
