Donald Seeman

Donald Eugene Seeman, of Middleton, WI, passed away on September 11, 2021.  Don was born February 9, 1935, in South St. Paul, MN to Marvin and Grace Seeman and he was the eldest of seven children.  His family later moved to Deer Creek, MN where Don graduated from high school.

He was a member of the Air Force, attended the Wings of Healing Christian College in Oregon and St. Cloud State University.

Don had a 40-year career in the car industry.  He held positions in sales, finance and management.  He was well liked by his customers and was known as the "Car Doctor."  He was awarded and recognized for his many accomplishments in the car industry and retired in 1997.  Don then became employed by the Eden Prairie School District transportation department and worked with them for 13 years.  In 2007 Don relocated with his wife Cheryl to Middleton, WI and was employed by UW-Madison for five years as a campus shuttle driver, where he enjoyed his daily interactions with UW students.  In 2013 Don retired from employment completely.  Don was a loving husband, father, and had an abundance of faith in God and love for his country.  He was generous and uplifting.  We enjoyed his laughter and joy for life.  He was an avid golfer and loved football.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl; daughter Faith (Dan); sons Rory (Jaclyn), Garth (Lucia), Shawn (Linda), Kent (Haiyun), Craig (Pasibeth); sisters Arlene, Susan (Bob); brother Jerry (Bonnie);  ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Don is united in Heaven with his son Lance, son Mark, granddaughter Sophia, brother David, and sisters Yvonne and Diane

A memorial service will be held on October 1st, at 1 p.m., at the Dawn Valley Memorial Park; 9940 Bush Lake Road; Bloomington, MN 55438.
