Donald Zeno Wipperfurth

April 9, 1949 — December 20, 2009

Waunakee- Donald Zeno Wipperfurth, age 60 passed away unexpectedly at UW-Hospital on Sunday, December 20, 2009 of cardiac arrest.   Donnie was born on April 9, 1949 in Lodi, Wisconsin, Wisconsin the son of William and Mary Ann Wipperfurth.     He graduated from Lodi High School High School and served six years in the Wisconsin National Guardl.   He worked for Waunakee Alloy for 40 years and more recently worked at Piggly Wiggly in Waunakee.   Donnie was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church in Lodi and was well known in the community for his involvement in FFA alumni and the Knights of Columbus where he was previously Grand Knight of the St. Patricks Council and more recently acted as District Deputy #43.   In his free time Donnie enjoyed working on the farm, hunting, line dancing, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.   He shared his wonderful sense of humor with all those around him.   He is survived by his wife Marilyn (nee Kurt) Wipperfurth, four children; Glen (Jennifer) Wipperfurth of Lodi, Stuart (Debbie) Wipperfurth of Cambridge, Amy (Steve) Helt of Cross Plains, and Rachel (Zak) Kallenbach of Portage, six grandchildren; Anna, Veronica, John, Caleb, Logan and the newest due in April, seven siblings; LaVern (Mary) Wipperfurth of DeForest, Melvin (Diane) Wipperfurth of Mesa, AZ, Darlene (Gerard) Meinholz of Middleton, Rita Wipperfurth of Middleton, LeRoy (Terri) Wipperfurth of Lodi, Leon (Michelle) Wipperfurth of Lodi and Julie Wipperfurth of Lodi..   Donnie was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Mary.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST.
