Donna Irene Bartley

Donna Irene (Smith) Bartley, age 76, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Azura Memory Care in Stoughton, after a 10 year battle with Alzheimer's.

Donna was born in Alton, Illinois on November 6, 1946 to Robert and Norma (Stewart) Smith. On September 16, 1989 she married Mike Bartley. Donna worked for Swiss Colony for 38 years until her retirement.

Donna enjoyed traveling, golfing and spending time with family. She was involved in Alcoholics Anonymous for many years. Donna was a sponsor and helped many people.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Robin (Jerry) Kempfer; sons, Scott (Marissa) and John (Erin) Elliott; grandson, Riley Elliott; sister, Susan (Ed) Walker; and nieces, Lisa (Drew) Goodman and Carrie Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike; and brother, Kenneth Smith.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held at a later date.
