Donna Rae Turner

Madison-Donna R. Turner, age 77, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison. She was born on March 18, 1933 in Richland County the daughter of Earl & Azelia (Markee) Anderson. She was united in marriage with Donald Turner on February 13, 1954 in Dubuque, IA Mrs. Turner was a longtime resident of Madison. She always loved getting back to her roots by travelling and spending time at the family farm. Donna loved flowers and hummingbirds. In her spare time she additionally enjoyed gambling junkets and enjoyed the Packers win the Super Bowl. She had a soft spot in her heart for her feline companions. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Danelski, Sobieski, WI; her son, Daniel Turner, Negaunee, MI; her grandchildren, Kaelie Turner and Derek Turner; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Linda and son-in-law, Jim Danelski. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Cress Funeral Home East, Madison with Rev. Michael Tess officiating. Burial will be held in Richland Center Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Friends are invited to call on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
