Donna Wallace

Waunakee:  Donna Mae Wallace, age 75, passed away April 16, 2020.  She was born March 27, 1945 the daughter of Walter L. and Sarah O. (Halvorson) Wallace.  Donna grew up in Madison, living four blocks from the capital.  Donna graduated from Madison Central High School in 1963, and spent her 42 year career as a secretary at the UW-Madison. She served as President of the Dane County Legal Secretaries Assoc. from 1982-84, President of Wisconsin Assoc. of Legal Secretaries from 1985-86, and Committee Chair, National Assoc. of Legal Secretaries from 1986-87.  Donna liked to travel and visited 40 of the 48 contiguous United States, cruises to Alaska and the Eastern Caribbean, and a Globus Tour of England, Scotland, and Wales.  She enjoyed jigsaw and word puzzles, her bridge groups, new cars, and walks on the golf course with good friends.

Donna is survived by a brother, Phillip (Janet) Wallace, a sister, Mary (Terry) Parker, two nephews, Brian (Jennifer) Parker, and Brad (Lori) Parker, and their 3 children.  She is further survived by a dear niece, Erika Bohlmann, many cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Sharon Bohlmann.  A private graveside service will be held. The family would like to thank Waunakee Manor and Agrace Hospice for their care.
