Doris Mell

Doris M. Mell age 87 of Stoughton, passed away on April 22, 2022 at Agrace Hospice in Madison. Doris was born on August 26,1934 in Huntingburg, Indiana the daughter of Albert and Alberta Gramelspacher. She graduated from Troy High School and went on to complete her nursing degree at Deconess Hospital in Indiana. She worked for Skaalen Nursing Home in Stoughton for many years until she retired in 1992. She was also a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She enjoyed travelling to Texas and Mexico with her husband Phillip.

Doris is survived by her daughter Julie (Roger) Schmidt, grandchildren Hannah and Trevor, and one great-grandchild that was very special to her, Mia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Phillip, her parents, and her sister Laverne.
