Dorothy Johnson

Stoughton- Dorothy Mae Johnson, age 91, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Stoughton on February 13, 1931, the daughter of Earl and Anna Sorenson.  Dorothy graduated from Oregon High School.  On August 18, 1951 she was united in marriage to Gerald B. Johnson.  Together they purchased their farm on Starr School Road in 1953.

Dorothy is survived by four children, Randy (Janice) Johnson, Brenda (Mark) Tincher, Renee and Rochelle Johnson; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister, JoAnn Swenson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Margaret Ehle, Curtis, Merlin, and Lloyd Sorenson.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton.  A luncheon reception will follow at Coachman’s Golf Resort.  Friends may greet the family from 12 noon until the time of services Sunday.  Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc.
