Dorothy Klein

Waunakee: Dorothy B. Klein, age 78, passed away quietly and peaceful Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born May 21, 1936 to Eugene and Mary (Poppie) Gallagher in Madison. Dottie married Anthony Klein, and they farmed in the area for many years. Anthony and Dottie worked well together, after farming they started Kwik Screen, a silk screening company which they ran successfully in Waunakee. Dottie loved gardening, especially her roses, enjoyed playing cards, and her beloved dog "Buttons." She always looked forward to weekly visits with her son Alan, a special son in every sense of the word. Dorothy is survived by her children; Nancy (Marv) Cleveland, Alan Anthony Klein, Judy Gaffney, and Jean (Wes) Lovick, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister Margaret Smith, and brother Jerry Gallagher. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Anthony, and brothers and sisters. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the CRESS CENTER, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI 53705.
