Dorothy Zelzer

Madison - Dorothy Marie Zelzer, age 88, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg, WI.

Dorothy was born on August 13, 1922 in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of John and Louise (Werth) Paeps. She married her husband Louis of 65 years on December 10, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA.

Dorothy was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church since 1954.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Louis; her two daughters, Diane Reynolds and Gayle Remus; two grandchildren, Chris and Michelle Remus and 6 great grandchildren, Caden, Ariana, Maurice, Terence, Jerome and Jayla.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Jeanette Gagon on December 13, 1993.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2438 Atwood Ave., Madison WI on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 1:30 PM. A visitation will also be held at the church on Thursday from 12:30 PM until the time of Mass. Entombment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
