Earl N. Munson, Jr.

Earl was born January 30th, 1946, to Anita and Earl Munson. He passed away surrounded by love on February 19, 2025. Earl went by many names over the years. Often referred to as Junior by family, Pearl by friends, Brother, and husband. However, his favorites were Dad and Grandpa. 

Earl loved his Wisconsin Sports! For many years you would find him cheering/ coaching for his favorite players on the softball fields and baseball diamonds. Earl was a friend to all, an exemplary father and a role model of modesty and patience. He loved to hear stories that made him laugh and cry.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda. Daughters Heidi (Chad) Hudson and Sarah Munson, Son Matt Munson, Grandchildren Caden and Kennedy Hudson. He was preceded in death by his parents Anita and Earl Munson and sister Mary Schmidt. 

Visitation will be from 09:30-11:00 AM on Thursday February 27, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 401 South Owen Drive, Madison, WI 53711 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM with Monsignor Bakke presiding.  Earl will be brought to his final place of rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Monona immediately following the Mass.
