Edith "Re" M. Dahl

Cottage Grove – Edith Marie “Re” Dahl passed away on Monday November 13, 2023.  Re was born June 10, 1936, in Iron Mountain, Michigan to the late Wanton and Geraldine (Cole) Rideout.  She was very close to her brother Eugene “Tim” Rideout.  After settling in Stoughton, Re attended Stoughton High School, where she met her future husband, Delbert Dahl.  They were married on October 19, 1956.  In 1962 they purchased the farm on Nora Road in Cottage Grove.  Re also worked for the State of Wisconsin for 25 years.  After she and Del retired, they moved to their home in Cable, Wisconsin and spent many winters in Arizona.

Re is survived by her husband Del, daughters: Jill (Carl) Licht, Nikki (Mark) Stace, and son Karl (Cari) Dahl; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law ,Jere and Randy Hanson, and her brother Tim.

A private funeral service will be held.

The family asks all friends do a toast in Re’s honor.
