Eileen Esther Thompson

Eileen Esther Thompson, age 82 of Waunakee Wisconsin passed away peacefully on 6/3/2023 at Sylvan Crossings. She was born on 6/24/1940 in Allegan Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Esther Ellis. She married Thomas Thompson Jr. on 3/14/1964 in River Park, Indiana.

Eileen graduated from Allegan High School and continued her education at Anderson College and then Indiana University for Psychology. In the 1980s she returned to school to further her education in computer programming where she then proceeded to work in the banking technology industry for 15 years. After having her fill of technology, Eileen returned to school once again to become a licensed Esthetician and continued serving clients for several years before retiring.

Eileen loved British History, Geneaology and listening to all varieties of music. She adored her family, especially her son, Mike and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow. She stayed busy with her plants, reading and researching her family back into it’s history. She always enjoyed meeting people and making new friends.

Eileen is survived by her son Michael (Cindy) Thompson, her grandchildren Abbey Thompson, Maxwell Thompson, and Joseph Thompson, her great grandchild Robin Thompson, as well as her siblings, sister Ruth (Cecil) Winterowd and brother Phil Ellis. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Ellis.
