Elaine M. Boyd

    MADISON - Elaine M Boyd, age 92, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 .  Born June 6, 19 17 , in Park Falls , WI , the daughter of Ida and Norbert Mineau.  Elaine was a very loving mother.  She was patient, caring, and creative.  She loved to paint, sketch and cartoon ""Herman the Heron.""  She was a great dancer and she loved hot chocolate.  She had a great sense of humor -- no matter what.  She and her husband, Vic, owned the Kings Row in Middleton and the Hot Beef Haus in Colorado Springs , CO .  She also lived in CA before settling back in  Madison again.       She is survived by her younger sister, Norma Geier, at All Saints in Madison, her children Julie (Vancura), Rick, Peggy (Jon Schumann), Greg (Terry), and Jan (Ben Heller) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.  Three children preceded her in death, Norbert (""Nubs""), Mary (Reedy), and Paul.       The family wishes to thank the staff at All Saints Assisted Living, Care Wisconsin , and Hospice for the wonderful love and care they provided to Elaine and her family through the last few years and moments. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice.       A memorial celebration will be held at All Saints Assisted Living at 8210 Highview Dr in Madison  on March 12 at 2 pm .
