Elaine Holmberg

Elaine Holmberg, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in Sun Prairie.  She was born August 27, 1942, in Boston, MA. , the daughter to Charles and Anna (Connelly) Mahoney. She was united in marriage to Ralph ‘Homer’ Holmberg on December 23, 1985, in Quincy, MA.

Elaine worked for the State of Massachusetts for almost 20 years. She enjoyed travelling, shopping, and the beach.

She is survived by her; son John (Lisa) Cassidy, daughters Dawn Cassidy, Lynn Ryan, and Deidre (Frank) Lupo; grandchildren Haley (Lucas) Levendoski, Andrew Cassidy, Meliisa Cassidy, Peter Ryan, Samantha Ryan, Nick Lupo, Joey Lupo, and Gina Lupo; great grandchildren Olivia, Abi, and Kaylie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Holmberg, her parents, Charles and Anna Mahoney, and her brother Charlie Mahoney.

Elaine will be laid to rest next to her husband Ralph at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
