Elaine Lois Hubred

Elaine L. Hubred, age 82, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009 at the Alma Nelson Nursing Home in Rockford, IL.   She was born in Stoughton on August 15, 1926, a daughter of Earl and Irene (Bailey) Aaberg, Sr.   Elaine enjoyed embroidery work, as well as vegetable and flower gardening.   She was a member of the Ladies Birthday Club in Stoughton for many years.   Friends and family knew not to call Elaine when The Wheel of Fortune' or The Price is Right' were on.   Elaine is survived by two children, Sharon Erickson of Rockford, IL, and Randall (Charlene) Lund of Beloit, WI; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and three great grand children.   She was preceded in death by a son, Steven and a grandson, Justin.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at noon at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton with Rev. Paula Geister-Jones officiating.   Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery South.   The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Sharon Erickson.
