Elaine E. Ulrich

Stoughton- Elaine Ethel Buske Ulrich, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. The former Elaine Buske was born on October 18, 1927 in Milwaukee to William and Emily Buske. She married Jack Ulrich of Milwaukee on September 4, 1948 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Milwaukee. The couple raised their family in Mequon and eventually retired to Stoughton. Jack preceded Elaine in death on October 31, 2002. Elaine's life revolved around her family. She enjoyed reading, knitting and visiting with family. Elaine always had a loving smile and was quick in telling you that she felt ""fine."" She is survived by her three children, Michael (Corky) Ulrich of Drummond, Susan Stoneman of Stoughton and Timothy Ulrich of Stoughton; five grandchildren, Tracy (Kevin), Troy, Travis (Sarah), Megan (Mike) and Catherine; two great grandchildren, Sam and Ava; as well as several nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel; and brother, Robert. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church, 143 Washington Street, Oregon, with Rev. Karl Hermanson officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery South in Stoughton. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of services Wednesday at the church.
