Elbert Louis "Moochie" Walker, age 57, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the UW Hospital.
Moochie was born in Chicago, IL on May 10, 1961 to Ethel and the late Elbert Brooks. He was educated in the Chicago School System. He later moved to Madison, where he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved listening to music. Moochie was also a momma's boy-there's nothing he wouldn't do for his mother and he also had a huge heart who didn't mind helping others.

Moochie leaves to cherish his memory his lovely mother, Ethel Brooks; 4 brothers, Charles (Florita) Walker, Jimmie (Ann) Brooks, Darnell (Katrina) Brooks all of Madison, and Eddie (the late Pamela) Brooks of Chicago, IL; 7 sisters, Donna, Janice Brooks, Chiquita Walker, Janet (Demar) Bray all of Madison, Cindy (the late Willie) Gilbert of Chicago, Ethelfee (Pierre) Franklin of Charlotte, NC and Felicia Brooks of Murfreesboro, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Elbert Brooks, grandparents Sammie and Lydia Walker and Louis and Sarah Brooks, 6 nephews, and 1 niece.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Madison Pentecostal Assembly, 5109 E. Buckeye Road, Madison. Family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
