Elenora Martha Marie Braunschweig

 Elenora Martha Marie Braunschweig, age 91, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2008 in Madison.   She was born on June 9, 1917 the daughter of August and Mary (Ludwig) Schultz in Watertown.   Elenora was a graduate of Watertown High School.   She was united in marriage to Arthur Braunschweig on June 3, 1939, and they shared 37 years together. Arthur passed away in 1976.   Elenora was employed at Watertown Table Slide as an accountant and office manager for 29 years. She lived in Watertown until 1993 when she moved to Oakwood Village. When she moved to Madison she became a very active volunteer for a number of school programs.   More recently she enjoyed crafting and volunteering at Oakwood Village.   Elenora was a member of Midvale Lutheran Church.   She is survived by her loving children;    David (Rhoda) Braunschweig, Madison, and Mary Ann (Gabe) Gaug, Bloomington, MN,   grandchildren; Anne (Todd) Capistrant, Healy, AK, Karl (Natasha Foreman) Braunschweig, Hamtramck, MI, Jamie (Heather) Gaug, Oronoco, MN, Ryan (Amy) Gaug, Minneapolis, MN, and great-grandchildren; Rose, Grace, Katja, Felix, Avery, Annabel, and Lydia, and nieces and nephews. Elenora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur, and three brothers; Fredrick, Albert, and Arthur.   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at RESURRECTION CHAPEL OAKWOOD VILLAGE WEST, 6102 Mineral Point Rd., Madison, WI. with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Oakwood Foundation, or Midvale Community Lutheran Church.
