Elizabeth Dahlby

Madison - Elizabeth M. (Klein) Dahlby, age 93, passed away on Sunday,
February 17, 2013 while at Oakwood Village East. She was born on
November 14, 1919 in Burke Township, the daughter of Frederick and
Susan (Schwartzenbach) Klein. On October 16, 1946 she and Rollin
Dahlby were married in St. John's Lutheran Church Madison where she
was a life member.

Elizabeth (Liz) was employed for 35 years at Oscar Mayer where she
retired October 1980. She was very involved with her family
business, Klein's Floral and Greenhouses as well. Liz lived life to
the fullest. She and her husband, Rollie enjoyed dancing, traveling
and their winters in Las Vegas. She was happiest when family and
friends came to visit or when she was talking and joking with her
friends at Oakwood.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rollin in 2009;
two sisters, Gertrude (Klein) Bruns and Helen (Klein) Jensen and two
brothers, Walter Klein and
Oscar Klein.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at
Oakwood and the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for the care they provided
to Elizabeth.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at
Oakwood Village East Chapel, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison at 1:00 PM.
Rev. Ken Smith will officiate. A visitation will also be held at
Oakwood East Chapel from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Burial
will conclude at Roselawn Memorial Park in Monona.
