Aunt Betty' to 13 nieces and nephews and 28 grand nieces and grand nephews, Elizabeth kept the Davies and Evans family history alive. She documented the families' genealogies and their journey from Wales to Waushara Co., Wisconsin, compiling a photographic and written record. She remained involved in the Wild Rose community, supporting the library, the high school and the Caersalem Cemetery where her parents an relatives are buried and where she will rest. Prior to moving to Attic Angels in 1999, Elizabeth lived in the Hill Farm area, in Madison, WI, owning a home surrounded by her wildflower collection, with Nellie McCannon, a professor at the University of Wisconsin, for 38 years. She traveled extensively, documenting her adventures through her skills as a photographer. She was an active member of the Christ Presbyterian Church, serving as a deacon and elder.
