Elizabeth ""Betty"" Jane Motl Passed away at the UW Hospital on Thursday, October 16, 2008. Although she has left this world, she has moved on to the loving arms of her Creator. She was born on October 7, 1921 in Waterloo, Wisconsin. She hit the jackpot when she met and married James Motl, her husband of 63 years. They were the parents of Greg (Roseann) and Susan (Carl) Grady. She cherished and is survived by her husband; children; grandchildren, Ryan and Casey Grady of Middleton, Randy (Sarah) of Madison, Theran (Jessica) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Nicole of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and two great-grandchildren, Gwen and Amelia, all of whom will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Olive Fox. She was a quiet, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. After the struggles she endured the past year and especially the last couple of weeks, her family knows she is in a much better place. She will always be watching over and be with those she so loved. The family would like to thank the UW TLC doctors, nurses and staff who made her last days peaceful and comfortable with their care and concern. A special thanks to all of those at Sunny Hill who cared for her. It is in losing someone that the preciousness of life is truly recognized. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that any offering be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or that you do something special for someone dear to you. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Drive on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 11:00 a. m. with Msgr. Donn Heiar presiding. There will be a visitation prior to the service at church from 10:00 a. m. until the time of service. Burial will be private.
