Ella Sue Steinkopf

Madison -- Ella Sue Steinkopf, four months old passed away in her parents arms on Sunday, August 9, 2009 .   She was born on March 30, 2009 in Madison, the daughter of Lloyd and Beth (Harrington) Steinkopf.   Ella from the start was given many challenges and had an unbelievable internal strength that helped her brave her many battles.   Her mellow disposition allowed her to accept everything given to her with serenity and peace.   Ella touched many lives and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.    She is survived by her parents; Lloyd and Beth Steinkopf of Madison, her brother; Jackson, maternal grandparents; Steve and Sue Harrington of Fitchburg, paternal grandparents; Hal and Cil Steinkopf of Lodi, three aunts; Sarah (Brett) Best of Madison, Tanya Steinkopf of St. Louis, MO and Merryann (Todd) Werley of Ohio, five uncles; Tim Harrington, Mike Harrington both of Madison, Joe (Rachel) Steinkopf of Lodi, Derick Steinkopf of LaCrosse and Alex Steinkopf of Lodi, eight cousins; Cadence, Colin, Kayden, Alysa, Devan, Alexis, Emily and Dylan and her Godparents; Barb and Tom Luther and their family.   She is also survived by other loving family and friends.   Ella was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal great grandparents.    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH , 2131 Rowley Ave. , on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Pat Norris, O.P. officiating.   A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.   Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery .   The family would like to extend an extra special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Meriter NICU Hospital for the wonderful loving care given to Ella and her family and also a special thank you to Father Pat Norris, O.P. for all his prayers and guidance through this difficult time. Ella you have left a footprint on our hearts and we will love you forever.
