Ellen L. Warmath

Oregon- Ellen L. Warmath, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 27, 2010 after a long battle with M.S.   She was born in Boston, MA on July 23, 1942, the daughter of Albert and Geraldine (Ehrlich) Loehr.   Ellen graduated from Westwood High School and Northeastern University.   She worked as a Lab Technician for Lahey Clinic in Boston and for St. Jude Hospital in Memphis in Cancer Research where she had multiple medical research papers published.   On December 28, 1971 Ellen married Norman Warmath.   She was a proud member of Browns United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN.   Ellen enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and Norman's BBQ.   She is survived by her husband, Norm; two daughters, Julie (Bryan) Hamer and Pam (Tim) Strandlie; and two grandsons, Tyler and Ethan Strandlie.   Ellen was preceded in death by her parents.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton.   Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.   Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the funeral home.   A special thank you to HospiceCare Inc. and to Karen Mauer for their wonderful care of Ellen.
