Eric B. Kluever, age 59, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, October 13, 2022 surrounded by family. He was born on April 18, 1963, the son of Kenneth and Thyra Kluever.
Eric graduated Stoughton High School in 1981. He served on the board as Alderman at age 25. Eric volunteered with Stoughton EMS with his then wife Geraldine Kluever for 10 years, Iola/Scandinavia volunteer Fire Department for 5 years and First Responders for 2 years, until his illness forced him to retire.
Eric worked at Fleet Farm in Waupaca WI for 18 years where he served some of that time as a Department Head. He moved to Stoughton and worked as a Sterilization Processing Tech for St Mary's Hospital until his career retirement.
On August 28, 2011 he married Tonya Elliott. Together they enjoyed fishing, vacations, concerts and day trips to nowhere. Eric enjoyed driving stock cars, his cooking shows and sports. He had a big heart, always caring for others, loved his dogs, family and friends. Eric had a great sense of humor.
He was a loving husband, dog dad, son, brother, nephew and uncle and best friend (fishing partner) Rob Elliott
Eric is survived by his wife Tonya, father Ken Sr, mother in law Patsy Mier, brother Ken "Dooner" Kluever, sister in laws Susan Elliott (Tara), Crystal Daniels brother in law Robert Elliott Jr )Tanya) nephews Garrett Kluever, Cody Daniels, Zachary Daniels, Jacob Marvin, Robert Marvin, Layne and Mason Elliott, Nieces Taylor Elliott, Great nieces Delylah, Freya and Blakely, Great Nephews Xavier and Coleson Daniels. Many Uncles, Aunts and cousins.
Preceded in death by Mother Thyra Kluever, Grandparents Ray and Doris Kluever, Randall and Emma Pieper, Several Aunts, Uncles and extended relatives.
Memorial Services to be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at First Lutheran Church Stoughton WI Pastor Dick Halom to officiate, visitation 10-12, services to follow with luncheon, private family burial at Lutheran South Cemetery.
