Esther Irene Dunham

MADISON

Esther Irene (Dearborn) Dunham passed away on June 30 at the age of 90, with family by her side.  She was born on July 3, 1919 to Clarence Dearborn and Alice (DeKalb) Dearborn in Central City Illinois.  She was married to Robert W. Dunham in Chicago, IL on May 6, 1943 at the Stevens Hotel where he was stationed at the time.    

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, and four children: Kenneth (Jean) of Victoria, TX, David (Janis) of Covina, CA, Diana Rae of Sun Prairie, WI and James (Nancy) of Madison, WI.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.  

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruth Hester and Irmagene Knight, and two brothers, Ernest and Alfred Dearborn. 

Family and close friends will celebrate her life on her 91st birthday, Saturday, July 3rd, 2010. 

The family wishes to thank the staff at the UW Hospital for their loving care.
