Madison- Esther Kvale, age 81, passed away peacefully Friday March 20, 2020, at Agrace HospiceCare. Esther was born April 14, 1938, in Wheeler, WI, the daughter of Orvile and Jessie Moen.
On September 8,1957, Esther was United in Marriage to Donald Kvale. They spent 55 loving years together until Donald’s passing. Esther worked at Rennebohm’s for many years then went on to work at Ellie’s Deli until she retired. Esther enjoyed activity’s with Donald including fishing, boating and riding the countryside looking at nature and animals. Esther was known for her wonderful Peanut Brittle and her enjoyment of bowling.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband Donald Kvale December 3, 2012,
And survived by her Son Tom Kvale of Madison.
Esther is also survived by her 2 sisters Rose (Ron) Kiesow, Kathy (Red) Jaggers, and 3 Brothers Jim (Judy) Moen, Ken (Marilyn) Moen, Jack (Alice) Moen, and sister-in-law Marilyn (Bill) Smith. As well as many Niece’s and Nephew’s.
Esther was also proceeded in death by her parents Orvile and Jessie Moen, Mother and Father-in-law Ted and Viola Kvale, also her sister Marilyn Hildebrandt, sister-in-law Joanne Johnson, brother-in-law Richard Kvale, brother-in-law Bill Smith and Brother-in-law Red Jaggers.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
A Burial will be at Spring Prairie Cemetery in Keyser Wi. Also determined at a later date.
Tom Kvale (son) would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Agrace Hospice care as well as Vicar Rick Bursh of Spring Prairie Lutheran Church in Keyeser, Wi, for all the love and prayers as well as wonderful care given to Esther and Myself.
