Peterson, Eunice M. (Pieper)

Madison:  Eunice M. (Pieper) Peterson passed away on June 26, 2022 at age 84.  Eunice was born July 27, 1937, the daughter of Herman and Laura Pieper. Eunice retired from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue after 37 years.  Since her retirement she enjoyed volunteering to assist elderly and low-income taxpayers in the preparation of their tax returns.  She also volunteered for blood drives with the American Red Cross and assisted at the Bethel Lutheran Church food pantry.  In the warmer months she refinished furniture for her family and friends.  Eunice loved the CUBS.  She had a CUBS room and displayed many signed pictures and baseballs.  She also had plaques, cards and other memorabilia of her CUBS.  She married Wayne Peterson of Lone Rock November 3, 1956.  She is survived by her son Mike, of Avoca, grandsons Kevin Reible and Adam Reible of Dane, and two great granddaughters, Autumn and Elaina of Dane; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, daughter Becky (David) Reible, three sisters, Luella (Ray) Jensen, Leona (Art) Denzer, Darlene (Wayne) Manthe; and five brothers, Merlyn (Gertrude) Pieper, Clifford (Lois) Pieper, Calvin, Dwayne (Delores) Pieper, and Dean Pieper.  Private family services will be held.
