Evelyn Graff

Evelyn May Graff, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 11, 2017. She was born on May 28, 1931 in Exeland daughter to Joseph and Bernice (Halverson) Balczewski. She was united in marriage to William "Bud" Graff on December 1, 1951 in Birchwood, Wisconsin. Together they raised five children.

She was a long-time resident of Token Creek, where she was a charter member of the Token Creek Yacht Club and Up/Down Stock Club. Evelyn was also a member of St. Olaf Catholic Church in DeForest. She enjoyed gardening, canning and taking care of her family.

Evelyn is survived by her children; Michael ( Stacia)Graff, Bill( Lynn) Graff, Lindee( Kelly) Kimball, John ( Penny) Graff and Thomas ( Kimberly) Graff; grandchildren Jess, Joseph, Taylor, Kai, Kirk, Keri, Jolinn ( Dan), Daniell, Tia, Dillon and Devyn; great-grandchildren Autumn, Anthony and Silas; Sister's Pat Kading, Gladys ( Bob) Bookhout; brothers Victor Balczewski; Joseph ( Kathy) Balczewski and Carol Balczewski; her in laws Mary Ellen Tiedt, Bea Graff, Doris & Tom Burdick and Ronald & Joyce Graff; Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Bernard Balczewski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 623 Jefferson Street, DeForest with Father Vincent Brewer presiding. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace in Sun Prairie and also from 10:00 am until time of mass at the church on Thursday.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Olaf Catholic Church.
