Evelyn Seyman

Evelyn Jane (McMillen) Seyman 85 Clarendon Hills, Ill/ Sauk City, WI   passed away on Dec. 1, 2010 in Clarendon Hills, Ill. Evelyn was born in Hartford, MI on Jan. 31, 1925 and grew up in Argos, IN. She attended Wilson Junior College where she met her future husband, Daniel J. Seyman. She worked as a stenographer and currency exchange cashier when young, and then started Sage Decorators later in life. Evelyn married Daniel on Aug. 13, 1950 and became a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ev's passions included her family, sewing, cooking, housekeeping, golfing, bowling, fishing, Bingo Girls' Club, nickel slots and Chicago Sports teams. She will be remembered for her strong will, competitive spirit, humorous nature and utter devotion to her husband, family and friends. She is survived by daughter Karen and her husband Michael McKanna; daughter Sandra and her husband Christopher Wycislak; grandchildren, Kyle, Stefanie, Mari and Jeffrey; sister Dorothy Gordon and brother James McMillen. She was preceded in death by her husband Dan on Feb 9, 2008. Friends may call Monday Dec. 6, 2010 at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Cassell Cemetery in Sauk City and then a reception will be held at Lake Wisconsin Country Club.
