Stoughton- Everett E. Urish, age 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg.  He was born to Ivan and Florence (Hundt) Urish on the family farm, March 2, 1921 in Green Valley, IL.  Everett was united in marriage to Dorothy A. Classen on August 15, 1942.  He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Eagle Pass, TX and later in India.  After the war, Everett returned to Paw Paw, IL, where he was in business until 1958, when he moved his family to Wisconsin to begin farming with his father and brother.  Everett started U. & S. Floor Coverings with his partners, Rudy and Janet Silbaugh, until his retirement 25 years later.  Everett loved to grow vegetables in his garden and to share them with his friends and neighbors.  He enjoyed a cup of coffee and playing cards every morning with his friends at the Stoughton Senior Center.  He was an active ember of the Stoughton Baptist church and proud of his faith in the Lord.  Everett is survived by his three children, Jack (Angie) of Dallas, TX and Nancy and Jan (Cindy), both of Stoughton; two grandsons, Jay of Flower Mound, TX and Max of Anchorage, AK; twin sister, Edith Sawyer of Plano, TX; aunt, Evelyn Collins of Pekin, IL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; two brothers; and two sisters.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton.  Friends may greet the family from 9:00 AM until the time of services Saturday.  A luncheon for friends and relatives will follow at the Stoughton American Legion.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to HospiceCare Inc., American Diabetes Assoc., American Heart Assoc., the Stoughton Senior Center, or the charity of the donor's choice.  Special thanks to Kiva of Rock County Hospice and all the Rock County staff who have been so kind, and to the kind an caring doctors, staff and chaplains of the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center.
