Evonne Thurston

Sun Prairie - Evonne L. Thurston, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, June 5, 2015. She was born on October 28, 1944 in Edgerton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Marvin and Marion (Jellings) Starks. Evonne was united in marriage to Ronald ''Fuzzy" Thurston on April 8, 1972 in Madison.

She is survived by her sons, Charlie (Tammy Shelton) Thurston and Robin Olson; her grandchildren, Robert Olson, Blake Thurston and Alexis Thurston; brothers, Darwin Starks, Harold Starks and David Starks; sister-in-law, Joan ( Larry) Koch. She leaves behind many dear relatives. Evonne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Gerald and Donald; and an infant sister, Gloria.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a celebration of her life following the service at the funeral home.
