Florence Renz

Florence Mae Renz (formerly:  Christofferson), age 87, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022.  She was born on December 30, 1934 in Winona, Minnesota, the daughter of August and Blanche Cieminski.  On October 2, 1954, Florence married George Christofferson in Winona MN.  George and Florence moved to Madison where      Florence worked as a Clerk Typist for United States Armed Forces Institute.  They had a wonderful life together, raising their daughters, and traveling to family events.  In August of 2000, George passed away.   Florence enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center, reading, game shows, and loved living by the zoo.  Florence was married to John Renz for a short time.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Diane(Dave) Kaufman; grandchildren Nicole (Andy) Tetschner, Lisa (Jesse) Mast, and Brian(Kimberly)Kaufman; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Ty, Audrey, and Mason.    She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Johnson.

Private Services were held and a memorial to be determined at a later date.
