Frances Boake

Madison - Frances Elise Boake departed this earth from Madison, WI on 24 September 2011, just short of her 89th birthday. She was born in Australia and accompanied her husband Bill Boake to live in England, France, and the USA. Elise was a scholar, a UW-Madison Alumna, a gardener, a knitter, a birdwatcher, a traveler, an art appreciator, an accomplished cook, and a devoted mother. She leaves behind dear friends and cherished relatives in Australia, the USA, New Zealand and the UK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, WI. A memorial gathering for Elise will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Oaks meeting room, B Floor, Oakwood Woods Campus, 6205 Mineral Point Road, Madison WI 53705.
