Frances L. Grimm

Sun Prairie-Frances   L . Grimm, age 80, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison.  She was born on December 26, 1927 in Milwaukee the daughter of Frank & Gertrude (Brady) Ryan.  Frances was united in marriage to Gerald Fredrick Grimm on October 15, 1949 in Milwaukee and they enjoyed over 58 years of marriage until his death this past August 3, 2008.  Mrs. Grimm has been a resident most recently of Sun Prairie but was a longtime resident of Glendale , WI  and had recently moved back to  Wisconsin after living in Texas. She was a member of St. Albert The Great Catholic Church, Sun Prairie and for many years a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Milwaukee.  Frances was a naturalist who loved the outdoors and volunteered for   several  years at the Riveredge Nature Center, Newburg, WI.  She was an accomplished artist whose many painting s will  adorn her children's homes.  In her spare time she enjoyed travelling and camping.  She is survived by her children, Daniel (Cheryl) Grimm, Wauwatosa, Christine Klein, Athelstane, WI, Margaret   ( Larry) Temkin, New Jersey, Joel (Janet) Grimm, Maryland, Kathleen Grimm (William Schloemer), Sun Prairie and Patrick Grimm, Houston, TX; 15 grandchildren;   a  sister, Helen Love, Grafton; other relatives and friends.    Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and sisters,   Colleen   Lenegar  & Jane Jezek.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held   at 1:30 pm on    Sunday October 26 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Dr., Sun Prairie.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sun Prairie.  Family will greet friends on  Sunday at the church from    12 noon until the time of service.   Cress Funeral & Cremation Service 1310 Emerald Terrace Sun Prairie, WI www.cressfunealservice.com
