Frances Mae Wright, age 93, of Madison, WI, passed away on Thursday at HospiceCare, Inc., Fitchburg. She was born in Niles, OH, on November 2nd, 1917, the daughter of Frederic and Emma (Reader) Roberts. After graduating from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA, she joined the U.S. Navy Waves during WWII when she met the love of her life, Walter Thomas (Tom) Wright. They were married on Sept. 7, 1946, and were blessed with three children. Â Frances loved being a mother, and enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, embroidery, counted cross stitch, and knitting. She was an eloquent letter writer and great cook. Â Frances is survived by her beloved husband; 2 sons, Robert (Catherine), Richard (Lynda), daughter, Ruth (Mark) Allee; 7 grandchildren, Andrew (Melissa Westphal), Erin (Jason) Parker, Jason (Ariana), Mary (Michael Hayden), Stephanie, and Joseph Wright, Spencer Allee; 3 great grandchildren, Greta and Marin Wright, Callie Parker, 1 nephew, J. Frederic Mushinski; 2 nieces, Mary Fetsch, Margaret Mushinski Ochs, and special friends, Donna and George Nielander. Â A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, Nov. 23rd, at Oakwood Village East, 5565 Tancho Dr., Madison, WI, with Rev. Doug Locken. A visitation will take place from 11 am until the time of the service. Inurnment will follow the service at Sun Prairie Memorial Gardens.
