Frank Schwartz

Frank J. Schwartz, age 93, of Dane died on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his home in Dane. He was born on April 1, 1919 to Joseph and Agnes (Wildenberg) Schwartz. He married Mary G. Wagner on May 24, 1945 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ashton and they recently celebrated their 67th anniversary. Frank farmed all of his life and also hauled cattle for area farmers for fifteen years. He loved to farm, garden and cut wood.
Survivors include his wife Mary; eleven children; Mike, Peter (Bonnie), Theresa, Tony (Jane), Rose (Steve) Paulson, Marie (Jim) Webster, Dan (Sharon), Don (Annie), Fran (Dawn), Ben (Denise), and Helen (Carey); 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother Art; and one sister Lucille (Dan) Alt; sisters-in-law Lavina, Kay and Gusty Schwartz; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one grandson Randy; four brothers, Clarence, Edwin, Walter and Melvin; and three sisters, Delores, Leona, and Vivien. Funeral services will be held on Thurs., March 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church, 5959 St. Martins Circle, Cross Plains. The Reverend Brian Dulli will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Thurs. from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
