Frederick Charles Ayers

Madison -- Frederick Charles Ayers, age 88 died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Sebring Assisted Living. Fred was born August 18, 1920 in Madison, the son of Jesse and Ida (Schmale) Ayers. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter Ayers. He is survived by nieces Judith Ayers, Susan (Jeffrey Wiles) Ayers and Katie Ayers; grand niece and nephews, Rachel, Jacob and Charles Wiles; and sister-in-law, Bernice Ayers. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Dr. Douglas C. Kutz, the staff at Sebring Assisted Living and HospiceCare for their wonderful care and support to Fred. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1 Speedway Road, Madison.
