Fredrick A. Schiller

Fredrick A. Schiller, age 100, of Waunakee died on May 26, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on Nov. 4, 1922 to Claude and Martha (Loeuck) Schiller. Fred was a World War ll veteran. 
Our family was blessed to have wonderful and loving parents and grandparents, Fred and Jeanne Schiller. Fred was offered a position at WHA Radio in 1970 and since they both loved to fly he and Jeanne flew into the Waunakee Airport to check it out. There were only three houses on the airport at that time, so he pulled up to the center one. Wayne Williams came out to meet them. Dad asked, “how can I get into town?” Wayne tossed him his car keys and said, “here you go!” They later purchased a lot on the airport and built a house and hangar and moved there in 1971 and they lived there ever since. 

Jeanne left us in 2016 and now Fred has joined his bride of 70 years in his eternal home.
