Gail M Hagen, 71 of Mount Horeb, WI (formerly Waupun, WI) died peacefully May 25, 2022 surrounded by the ones she loved.

Born October 27, 1950 to Dorothy (nee Neumann) and Florian “Stoney” Zehren.  She was raised in West Bend WI and graduated from West Bend High School in 1969.

Gail enjoyed reading novels, especially Danielle Steel and James Patterson.  She had recently purchased the newest James Patterson book which completed her collection.  She loved to crochet and found great joy in creating hand made gifts for family and friends.  Her most recent project was newborn baby hats that she donated to the Immanuel Lutheran Church (Mount Horeb) mission project.

Gail leaves behind her 5 children Jena (John) Carr of Mount Horeb, WI, Scott (Linda) Hagen of Vero City Fl, Kelly Hagen of Vero City Fl, John (Charity) Henschel of Golden Valley AZ, and Krystal (Brett) Bartelt of Waupun, 15 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren.  3 brothers Robert (Sue) Zehren, Steve (Sandy) Zehren, and Terry (Kris) Zehren as well as 2 sisters Bonnie Donahoe and Sharon Zehren.

She will be missed by many other friends and family members!

She is preceeded in death by her parents Dorothy and Stoney Zehren, her favorite Aunt and Uncle “Toots” and Leo Bartlett, her husband Jack Hagen, and her lifelong best friend Shellie Koenig.

The family would like to the thank Pastor Jared Parmley Immanuel Lutheran Church Mount Horeb,  the 8SW nursing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital as well as the amazing staff at Agrace Hospice.  She couldn’t say enough about the care and kindness that you showed her in her final days.
