Gary Steven Dupont   It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected loss of Gary S. Dupont, who was taken into the arms of our Lord on 1-9-09.   In the midst of our deep grief, we are consoled by the knowledge that Gary is now in a place of peace, beyond the reach of all suffering.   Gary was born on November 23, 1982 in Torrance, California. We remember him as the energetic, vivacious and independent individual he has been since childhood.   In younger years, sitting down was not an option, and he was an enthusiastic football player, bicycle rider, skater, and golfer. His father, who taught him to play golf, was soon relegated to the role of Gary's caddie. Gary was an active Cub Scout, avid artist and writer. He loved life, had a wonderful sense of humor and always cheered people up. We remember Gary reclining on Strider, his 100 pound Chesapeake Bay Retriever, who could be a fright to others, but was a teddy bear to Gary.   After completing high school at Cheyenne Mountain High School, Gary attended Raritan Valley Community College and worked as a Marketing Representative until his untimely death.     Gary is preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Dupont, grandmother Tiki Hilburn, and grandfather Edward Hilburn.   He is survived by his father Craig Dupont of Sun Prairie, WI; his mother Brenda Dupont of Henderson, NV; his grandmother Betty Dupont; brother Petty Officer Paul Dupont; aunt Renee Dupont, M.D., uncles Colonel Daniel Dupont, James Dupont,  aunts Dottie Hilburn and Gloria Hilburn as well as numerous cousins and his beloved cat Mongo.   A Mass in celebration of Gary's life will be held at Saint Albert the Great Catholic Church in Sun Prairie, WI on January 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM, with a reception following.
