Gary E. List

Sun Prairie -- Gary Eric List, age 52, died on Sunday, April 25, 2010, at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born on July 8, 1957 in Madison, the son of Eric H. and Ilene (Gilbert) List. Gary served in the U.S. Marine Corps aboard the USS Constellation. He was united in marriage to Patricia Finger on May 7, 1983 in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Gary worked for his father at Eric H. List Electric for many years. He currently was working as a custodian at the DeForest High School. Gary was a big Packer and Brewers fan. He was very proud of his wife and children.

Gary is survived by his wife, Patricia List; his two children, Kimberly and Matthew List; mother and stepfather, Ilene (Milton) Austin, sisters, Rita (Dan) Endres and Monica (Dan) Haack; a special niece and nephew, Kristi (Kris) Maki and Daniel Haack; many other nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Eric.

Funeral services will be held at BRISTOL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6835 County Hwy N, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Bristol Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
