Gary Neath

March 19, 1938 — October 29, 2016

Deerfield- Gary D. Neath, age 78, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Willowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Mills. He was born in Stoughton on March 19, 1938 the son of John and Eleanor Neath. Gary lived on a farm all of his life. He enjoyed NASCAR, Green Bay Packers, UW Badgers, San Francisco Giants, and game shows especially The Price Is Right. Gary is survived by three brothers, John (Norma Kindstrom), Richard, and Phillip; four sisters, Betty Neath, Norma Huberd, Rosie Gribble, and Cathy (Jon) Larson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert and Douglas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Cottage Grove. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, following the burial, at the Stoughton American Legion. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Gary's name to the Stoughton Veterans Memorial Park. A special thank you to the following: the caregivers at Willowbrook in Lake Mills; nurses and caregivers on 4SW at St. Mary's Hospital; Dr. Steven Siewert for all of his care and attention; and to Rainbow Hospice Care for putting the family at ease during Gary's final hours.
