Gary Redman

MADISON -  Gary Arthur Redman, age 76, of Madison passed away on Monday, September 21, 2021.  He was born on March 1, 1944 in Berlin, Wisconsin, the son of Arthur and Lydia (Kloehn) Redman.  He married Patricia Kay on October 16, 1965 in Madison.

Gary obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business from Madison Business College.  He served in the Army Reserve.  He was the store manager for many years at Millin’s Supermarket on Monroe Street. He then worked at the SPRITE house (a program within the juvenile correction system), and finished his working career at America’s Best Flowers.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children Nancy (Marc) Wynne, Brian (Jennifer) Redman, and Jennifer Bentley; grandchildren, Eric Redman, Ally Jo Redman, Rudy Bentley Jr., and Kalena Bentley; and his loyal dog, Duke.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Donald, Kenny and Diane.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1 Speedway Road, Madison, at 3pm.

The family would like to thank the staff on the Eighth floor at Meriter Hospital and the staff at Agrace Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Gary during his final days.
